How we helped: Housing Partners

Through 2009 and the first half of 2010 the Housing Partners’ sales team were missing their targets and frustrations started to mount; the inclination was to reduce the goals down rather than really fix the problem. Instead Housing Partners asked Richard Blundell to take on temporary responsibility for Sales from June 1st 2010.

The transformation was almost immediate and by the end of the year sales had increased by more than 200%. But what makes this even more exciting is that the Housing Partners team continued to use the lessons learned after Richard had rolled away meaning that sales have continued to rise (as can be seen by the graph opposite) in the first half of 2011.

Housing Partners should be viewed as the classic Guiding Capital case study.
